About Pinnacle

Brian McGinnis founded Pinnacle Real Estate LLC in 2001.   Brian has extensive experience in hospitality operations, project management and development.   As Director of Development for Westin Hotels & Resorts, Brian was responsible for marketing Westin's hotel management and franchise services as well as coordinating development and project management services.   His eleven years of experience at Westin started with overseeing the market and financial feasibility studies, facilities planning and investment analysis for hotel and resort projects and acquisitions worldwide.

In addition to his hospitality real estate experience, Brian gained valuable knowledge in the commercial office market as a Commercial Project Manager for Intracorp Seattle.   His focus was office development, feasibility studies and land acquisition.   He was also responsible for the leasing and disposition of Intracorp's 80,000 square foot office building in downtown Seattle, as well as their 40,000 and 80,000 square foot industrial buildings in Woodinville.

Prior to Intracorp and Westin, Brian worked as an Associate for Laventhol & Horwath, a national accounting firm that also specialized in real estate consulting.   He conducted market feasibility studies and appraisals for a variety of proposed hotel and resort development projects and convention facilities located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.

Brian graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Hotel Administration and currently serves as the Chair of the Advisory Committee for WSU's School of Hospitality Business Management.   Just as he has for the past five years, Brian continues to teach classes on hotel development at WSU and for University of Washington's Commercial Real Estate Certificate Program.   Brian was an honoree at the 75th Anniversary of WSU's School of Hospitality Business Management.
